During the “Rebuild Ukraine: Health and Rehabilitation” held talks with potential donors

On June 24-25, Warsaw hosted an exhibition and conference in the series “Restoring Ukraine” on health and rehabilitation “Rebuild Ukraine: Health and Rehabilitation”.

About 200 companies from different regions of Europe and the world joined the event. Ukraine demonstrated its capabilities to implement projects in the field of rehabilitation and mental recovery of people. To this end, the Ukrainian national pavilion was set up at the exhibition, where 27 entities made their presentations. These include local governments such as Irpin, Trostianets, and Truskavets, as well as various medical centers and hospitals, state and non-state companies.

In addition, a photo exhibition dedicated to the damage to medical infrastructure caused by Russia’s aggression against Ukraine attracted the attention of the event participants.

According to Viktoriia Korsunova, Head of the URF Kyiv Office, the purpose of the URF representatives’ participation in the conference was to find donors and partners for the implementation of projects to rebuild healthcare facilities that were heavily damaged during the war.

“It is important that when we restore damaged or destroyed hospitals and clinics, we focus on creating medical facilities equipped with the most modern equipment. Treatment and rehabilitation of both military and civilians should be carried out using the best medical protocols and practices,” said Viktoriia Korsunova.

At the exhibition and conference, many countries, including the Czech Republic, Germany and the Netherlands, presented their medical facilities and offers in the field of treatment and rehabilitation in various areas.
